New year, new start – unfortunately, that just hasn’t been the case for 2021, and we’re so disappointed we haven’t been able to open the store up yet.
But the good news is, despite the fact we can’t open our doors, we are still working! As well as offering jewellery repairs, we are happy to take on any jewellery commissions and you can also shop online in our virtual store.
And to make things easier for you, we are now offering a click and collect service. Monday-Friday from 11am to 2pm, we will be in the shop, so you can collect your orders or drop off any repair work.

Treat you or a loved one to a bespoke jewellery commission
If you want something really memorable to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or other special occasion, how about commissioning a bespoke piece of jewellery? From engagement rings to a statement pendant, the possibilities are only limited by your own taste in jewellery.
And it doesn’t even have to be a piece made entirely from scratch. If you already have a piece of jewellery, that has maybe gone out of fashion or is a piece you’ve inherited but just isn’t you, why not have it made into something else entirely? This is a much-loved relative’s wedding band that has been made into a new, stylish ring. You can even choose to use two or three bits of unloved or even broken jewellery and create a wonderful new piece.
And you don’t even need to commission a standard jewellery piece, such as a ring or a necklace. We are also happy to create something like this impressive keyring – a wonderful personal gift that will always be remembered.
Not sure how the process works? Find out more here about the steps we take to ensure we come up with the perfect piece you are looking for.
Get your jewellery repaired so you can enjoy it again
If you’re anything like us, you will have been spending your time during lockdown trying to find useful things to do and there is something immensely satisfying about sorting out your jewellery! Some pieces will bring back wonderful memories of friends and family or transport you back to somewhere special a long time ago.
But if you find a few pieces that are either broken or need a bit of TLC to bring back their sparkle, why not make 2021 the year you do something about them? And the good news is you won’t need to wait until lockdown is finally over to get them back into perfect condition.
Our online repair service enables you to send your pieces to us, so our on-site goldsmith can make the repairs. We will then send the jewellery back to you, so you won’t even have to leave the house (although you can use our click and collect service if you prefer).
We do everything from stone replacement to chain repairs, ring re-sizing to jewellery cleaning, and can even help with more unusual jobs such as replacing metal clasps on handbags.
You deserve to be able to enjoy your jewellery to its fullest, so why not give us a call Mon-Friday between 11am – 2pm on 01494 434178 to discuss your requirements.
Shop ‘til you drop in our virtual store
One of the things we are missing most during lockdown is shopping! We don’t always buy something, but just being able to mooch around the shops and do a bit of window shopping is just eminently satisfying.
It’s one of the reasons we decided a virtual store might help us all during lockdown. We know it’s not the same as going out and about, but it does at least allow you to recreate the in-store experience in the comfort of your own home. No worrying about wearing a mask, washing your hands or trying to keep 2 metres from anyone else; you can simply view all the wonderful jewellery items we have in our cabinets, and you’ll even be able to see our talented goldsmith, Victor at work!
And if you do see something you fancy, give us a call on 01494 434178 or email us at email@example.com and we can arrange for you to collect the item or, if you prefer, we can post it to you.
We look forward to being able to open again properly soon, but in the meantime we hope that some of our lockdown jewellery services might be helpful and that you all stay safe.
